The seminar is theoretical; we will only speak about the tree, we won’t work on it.

SEMINAR WITH TOMIO YAMADA
Subject: ”Tokonoma setting”
Master Yamada, who has been responsible for the set up in Takagi museum in Japan, will comment on the displayed exhibitions, giving advice for improvement. The settings will be released in a tokonoma made available by the organization. You’ll be using a bonsai or a suiseki with a proper desk ,a plant (“accent plant”) a scroll with a painting or a calligraphy and all necessary objects.
Tokonoma will be set on a desk with a base and it will measure cm 190x90 , height cm 80 from the floor.
The workshop is reserved to those who already have knowledge in setting a tokonoma.
