Edoardo Rossi was born on the 12th of December in 1960 in Padua, where in 1983, he received a diploma in oboe at the “C. Pollini” Conservatory. This same year he began an intense international activity as a solo artist with important orchestras and chamber music groups. In 1985 he started to become interested in bonsai, beginning to
deepen his knowledge by attending several seminars with the best masters. In 1992 he entered the Bonsai Art School under the guidance of Master Hideo Suzuki and in October 1999 he obtained a diploma at the Japanese School of Master Hamano. In 1995 he won the New European Talent Competition in Monaco (Principality of Montecarlo). Since 1987 he has been a member of the Euganea Association of Bonsai, where he is the artistic and didactic coordinator. He is a founder member and executive member of “Nippon Bonsai Sakka Kyookai Europe”. He currently works in the bonsai field, giving seminars and demonstrations in Italy and Europe, as well as, managing a bonsai nursery open to the public in Cervarese Santa Croce (PD).
