““ Andreas Holzer was born in San Candido (Bolzano, Italy) on December 10th 1969, and now lives in Sesto Pusteria. He works as a professional handcrafter and carpenter.
He first encountered the art of bonsai in 1989 and was self-taught for a couple of years, but with little results. Andreas Holzer later studied at the ABT Club Trieste and at the Brixen Bonsal Club, meeting various bonsai masters before attending Othmar Auer’s school for some years. He is now specializing in the making and studying of bonsai display tables.
Furthermore, he has studied martial arts at the Yoseikan Budo school (1st dan) since 1990.”
