Congresso Nazionale Italiano 2019

Il congresso nazionale quest’anno si terrà nel Complesso Monumentale di Abbadia Isola (SI) al 24 al 26 maggio, i nostri ospiti sono Fausto e Mariarosa Porcelli che con i soci del club, Siena Bonsai, si sono presi l’impegno di coordinare con noi questo evento.
Il complesso di Abbadia Isola, recentemente restaurato, si trova a pochi chilometri da Monteriggioni, minuscolo borgo cinto da mura medievali lungo la via Francigena e a una ventina di minuti da Siena. Siamo nel cuore della Toscana, in una località che richiama turisti da tutto il mondo e i nostri bonsai saranno inseriti in una cornice meravigliosa, ricca di storia. 

Visto il periodo in cui si terrà il congresso, verrà trattato il tema delle fioriture nel bonsai, con particolare attenzione ai bonsai di azalea e verrà sviluppata una sezione rivolta ai kusamono.

PROGRAMMA

Venerdì 24 maggio 
Ore 12.00 ​Termine per la consegna dei soggetti da esporre – inizio allestimento della mostra

Ore 18.30​ Inaugurazione della manifestazione. 

Sabato 25 Maggio​
Ore 10.00 – 11.30​ Azalee: la coltivazione, il rinvaso, le potature e le malattie/parassiti; la conservazione della colorazione delle fioriture. Lezione a cura del socio Giorgio Raniero.

Ore 11.30 – 13.00​ Shitakusa e suiseki, le erbe che accompagnano le nostre pietre. A cura dei soci. 

Ore 15.30 – 17.30​ I vasi per i kusamono, a cura del socio Igor Carino. Durante la lezione Igor svilupperà il tema della scelta del vaso più appropriato per le nostre erbe, sia kusamono che shitakusa. 

18.00​ Assemblea sociale.

Ore 21.00 ​Cena sociale.

Domenica 6 Maggio ​
Ore 10.30 – 12.30​ Kusamono: realizzazione e manutenzione delle composizioni di erbe. La lezione sarà tenuta dalla socia Alfonsina Zenari.

Ore 15.00 – 17.30​ Kusamono kazari, l’allestimento e l’esposizione di composizioni di erbe come soggetto principale, con particolare attenzione ai complementi, tavolini kakejiku e tenpai. Incontro con i soci.

Ore 18.00 ​Chiusura della manifestazione.

Dear Friends, this year, the national convention will be held in the Abbadia Isola “Complesso Monumentale” complex (in the province of Siena) from 24 to 26 May. Our hosts will be Fausto and Mariarosa Porcelli who, together with the Siena Bonsai club members, have taken on the job of coordinating this event with us.
Located just a few kilometres from Monteriggioni, the recently restored Abbadia Isola complex is a tiny little village sitting inside mediaeval walls along the ancient Via Francigena route, about twenty minutes outside Siena. Here, we are in the heart of Tuscany, in a location that draws tourists from around the world, and ourbonsai will be set against a most wonderful backdrop, steeped in history. 

Given the convention’s scheduled dates, we will be dealing with the theme of bonsai flowering, focusing on azalea bonsai, while there will also be a section on kusamono.

PROGRAMME

Friday 24 May
Midday ​Deadline for handing in pieces to be displayed – exhibition setup starts
6.30pm​ Event official opening 

Saturday 25 May​
10.00 – 11.30am​ Azaleas: cultivation, repotting, pruning and diseases/parasites, helping blossomsretain their colour. Lesson conducted by member Giorgio Raniero. 

11.30am – 1pm​Shitakusa and suiseki, the grasses accompanying our stones. By members. 

3.30 – 5.30pm​ Pots for kusamono, by member Igor Carino. During the lesson, Igor will deal in depthwith the subject of the most appropriate pot for our grasses, both kusamono and shitakusa. 

6pm​ Club assembly.

9pm​ Club dinner.

Sunday 6 May ​
10.30am – 12.30pm​Kusamono: producing and maintaining arrangements of grasses. The lesson willbe conducted by club member Alfonsina Zenari.

3 – 5.30pm​Kusamono kazari, the staging and display of arrangements of grasses as the mainsubject, with a special focus on complementary items, tables, kakejiku and tenpai. Meeting with members.

6pm ​Event closes.
